Will Alternative Therapies Work with Warfarin?

The medical world has been rocked in recent years by the widespread use of alternative therapies in treating illnesses and injuries. In fact, it s now estimated that as many as one in three adults in the U.S. uses herbal remedies and other alternative therapies. Sales of herbal medicine skyrocketed nearly 60 percent in 1997, amounting to an incredible $3.24 billion.


Yet, doctors are not always aware of the fact that their patients are using alternative treatments. One study a few years ago indicated that only 58 percent of the physicians surveyed always or often question their patients about alternative therapies. A majority of doctors questioned believe that herbal remedies have no side effects

Debate on Legalizing Drugs Rages On

Most all heavy drug users and many former drug users are for the legalizing and decriminalizing of drugs in America. This issues recently took center stage in an online think tank when one former, drug user and think tanker stated:


We accept alcohol and know people develop addictions, develop mental health issues and create problems resulting from aggression and miss-use, but the same issues are a result of miss-use of meth, but we accept alcohol with responsible service and not meth.

Spreading Hate And Immoral Behavior

It was mid November of 2000 and I was anxiously waiting for the results of one of the closest elections in recent memory. I had bought into the media s claims about George W. Bush. So I wasn t happy when the results were finalized and President Bush was declared the winner.


That was then and this is now. While most critics of George W. Bush will not admit they never gave our president a fair chance, I will. I will admit that I was initially troubled by what the liberal media had said about our president.
I bought into those liberal hateful lies about the Republicans.
